We are based in the southern basin of Ocean Village Marina, Southampton at the very heart of the yachting world.
 
Ocean
Village Marina (OVM) is an ideal location, it is easy reached by road or
rail (Southampton Central has a1/2 hourly train service from central
London and OVM is only a short bus ride or 5 min taxi journey)
OVM is only a short walk to Southampton's finest
restaurants and bars as well as having a Tesco Express on site for those
last minute purchases.
A new secure OVM multi story car park is close at
hand along with showers and laundry facilities.
Access
to the marina can be gained at any state of the tide and Reach 4 the
Wind is moored alongside F pontoon.
Reach 4 the
Wind will be
flying a sky blue battle flag sporting the “Reach 4 the Wind” logo.
How to
find us by road
You can
reach Ocean Village from either the M27 or from the M3 via A33:
From the
West
via the M27 exit 3, take the M271 and follow the Dock Gate signs past
Town Quay then look for the signs to Ocean Village which should take you
to Platform Road.
From
the North / East
via the M3 and A33 (shortest route and the one I use) M3 southbound –
exit junction 14 onto the A33. Follow the signs to the “Docks” and “Old
Waterfront”, Ocean Village is signposted as you arrive in Southampton.
From either
route when in Platform Road, turn right at the first set of lights into
Ocean Way, drive past the first cinema on your left. Turn first left and
head for the water front if you can see the 'Harbour Lights' cinema you
have arrived or very close
Park anywhere in the water front car park. ("Pay and Display" up to 7
pm. we have a number of parking permits or can arrange off site
parking.) If all spaces are taken there is a 20 min drop off area near
the “Harbour Lights”
From
the Car Park looking out over the water our entrance is at the far right
corner of the marina (just in front of the Harbour Lights Cinema). There
are two pontoon ramps both are fitted with coded gates. The code is
constantly changing so please give me a call when you arrive on 07831
